SYNTHETIC HARDFACING STAINLESS STEEL ELECTRODES
» H & T 1886

A heavy coated ductile based electrode having high deposition efficiency, depositing austenitic stainless steel having 18 Cr, 8 Ni, & 5 Mn weld metal core wire is of mild steel but all alloying elements are in the flux coating. Weld metal has excellent wear, abrasion, corrosion, oxidation resistance properties the weld metal in air Hardening, as welded hardness is between 200 BHN and work hardness under impact is about 500 BHN.
